7 Activities to Help Keep us Sane in these Crazy Times.
If you’re anything like us, you’re running out of things to do with everything that’s going on. And while yes, businesses are starting to open again, there’s still a lot of restrictions and States, that are encouraging staying home a while longer. Therefore, we thought we’d share some activity suggestions to help you from going stir-crazy at home!
Baking - try those recipes that caught your eye that you never got around to making or bring back the dishes that have been passed down from one generation to the next. Added bonus: you can make this a family bonding activity as well.
Crafting - if you’re like us, you’re starting to look for ideas of new things to do. Tap into your creative side by doing some crafting projects. Need help with where to start? Amazon has a large selection of crafting books ready for you to Prime to your house.
Reading - whether you prefer a kindle or an actual book, now is the time to finally start that book you’ve been wanting to read.
Virtual Tours - you may not be able to actually go on a getaway right now but that doesn’t mean you can’t see incredible places. Take a moment to look into all the incredible virtual tours that are being held all over the world!
Spring Cleaning - we know, this one’s not as fun. But there’s no better time to start Spring Cleaning than now. You don’t have to do it all in one day, take it little by little, and hopefully you’ll start feeling energized by your newly cleaned space.
Go Outside - we can still enjoy the outdoors, even if it’s simply through taking a walk. Getting out of the house will help combat those feelings of restlessness we’re all feeling right now. Just remember to stay six feet away from others and wear a mask when needed.
Virtual Get Togethers - coffee dates, wine nights, book clubs, game nights…we can all still connect even if we can’t physically be together. Remember, it’s important to remain in each other’s lives any way we can - we’re all in this together.
Let us know your activity ideas below! And don’t forget to stay healthy, safe, and sane.
XoXo,
