Glow & Get It Eye Balm Review:

Miracle products are a real thing people! I can’t stress this enough. I am the first person to be beyond picky when it comes to eye creams. I’ve spent $10 on a product and I’ve spent $65, only to have them do absolutely nothing for me! The worst part is, I’ve been struggling with this for years. When I entered my 30’s - one of the gifts the universe gave me was slightly dark circles under my eyes and lots of puffiness. Some of it had to do with my sleeping habits - you only live once - but even on days when I got a full 8 hours of sleep, I would wake up looking tired. Which was the absolute worst. Having people constantly ask you:

  • “Are you okay?”

  • “You look tired, did you get enough sleep last night?”

  • “Are you getting sick?”

...when nothing was wrong was really starting to take a toll on my self esteem. Sure, some days I was tired - I can own that. However, most days, I was just disheartened that I looked tired and while concealer helped with the dark circles, puffiness was still ever present.

I had come to accept that this was just my life now. I was just going to be the girl that always looked tired because I was completely over trying product after product after product and having them do zip. Not to mention all the money I wasted on this trial and error process.

I will fully admit I had become bitter about under eye products and decided it was all just a scam. So, when Calla first told me about Glow & Get It Eye Balm from Tula I didn’t think much of it. She insisted that I try it and I was like “sounds good” and then never did. However, when we went to Houston together, she gave me no choice!

She was getting ready when I decided to invade her space and join her. First of all, girls do this - getting ready together is how we roll on vacations. And if you don’t, you should because we all know it takes a while to do our hair and makeup so we might as well do it together! Second, the bathroom was huge so there was plenty of room.

She was straightening her hair when I started on my makeup. Before I could even open my concealer she pushed the Glow & Get It Eye Balm into my hand. Since, I really didn’t have a choice, I humored her and put it on. The second the product hit my face I immediately felt the cooling sensation. It felt so refreshing. Impressed from the minute I used it, I decided to give it a real chance. Letting the product sink in, I noticed right away that my under eyes looked brighter and less puffy.

The next test was how it handled makeup. As someone who can’t live without concealer, what I didn’t want to happen was for the Glow & Get It Eye Balm to break apart the makeup I was putting on my face - not a cute look. While part of me was worried I’d mess up my makeup (solely because I am not the type of girl that wants to do her make up for hours) I was so impressed with how my under eyes looked that I needed to give this a real shot.

AND THE RESULTS ARE IN - it paired beautifully with my concealer!!! Working hand and hand to make my under eyes look their best. I couldn’t believe it. No puffiness, no dark circles, no needing to go back in and edit myself (guilty of doing that from time to time). I knew I needed to add Glow & Get It Eye Balm to my daily routine for life!

Face Filter Blurring & Moisturizing Primer Review:

After I discovered and shared the amazing Glow & Get It Eye Balm with Leanne, I knew I had to try another Tula product.

I decided that it was time for me to start using a primer again for my makeup. It was perfect timing because Tula just launched their Face Filter Blurring & Moisturizing Primer. To say this was a game changer for me is an understatement.

If you know me, I am not the makeup guru like Leanne. I am a basic B that is happy going out of the house with mascara on my lashes, maybe a quick swipe of blush and calling it good! My skin tone isn’t perfectly even like most people, so with incorporating Tula’s Face Filter Blurring & Moisturizing Primer into my skincare routine, it has made me feel more confident in my skin tone.

The Face Filter Blurring & Moisturizing Primer instantly smoothes the appearance of my uneven skin tone and also reduces the redness that I always have on my chin. As you apply it to your face, it releases “glow particles” that create a warm-toned, radiant base that I can either apply my makeup over or leave as my “makeup” for the day!

The best thing is the Face Filter Blurring & Moisturizing Primer is suitable for all skin types! It contains so many amazing ingredients for your skin including probiotics, prebiotics, turmeric, licorice & chia seeds. My other favorite thing about Tula is that they are a cruelty free beauty brand!

If you are in search for a new makeup primer or an instant glow that looks like you were sun kissed, I would highly recommend giving Tula’s Face Filter Blurring & Moisturizing Primer a try!

XoXo,

Leanne & Calla
